Student Program

Our four-week Student Program offers university students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the property and construction industry.

Through practical project work experience, mentoring and exposure to a wide range of disciplines, participants develop valuable skills while learning more about career pathways within the built environment.

Graduate Program

Our Graduate Program provides a pathway for emerging professionals to develop their careers in quantity surveying and the built environment.

Participants gain practical experience on major projects, access to structured learning and mentoring, and opportunities to build their professional networks across the industry.

First Nations Scholarship Program

Our First Nations Scholarship Program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students pursuing studies related to the property, construction and engineering sectors.

The program combines financial support, professional development, mentoring and practical industry experience to help participants build rewarding careers.

Program placements are available in Slattery offices in Naarm (Melbourne), Warrang (Sydney), Meanjin (Brisbane), Boorloo (Perth) and Nipaluna (Hobart).

First Nations Work Experience Program

Our First Nations Work Experience Program introduces Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students in Naarm (Melbourne) to the wide range of careers available across the property and construction industry.

Through a paid work experience placement, students gain exposure to different areas of the business, including quantity surveying, site visits, carbon planning, marketing, finance, people and culture, and administration. Placements are designed around individual interests and school requirements.
